A slight delay on our latest podcast episode with THEE Beau Ryder Davis
Hey faithful nutshells! We are swamped with Story Chores and need to delay the release of our latest episode of Prompt with the great Beau Ryder Davis. But, fear not, that episode will drop on Nov 19. It’s just enough time for you to listen to the episode and prepare to see him perform at our next Nutshell show on Nov 28.
In the meantime, I (Nutshell Aaron), would like to share with you three of my favorite episodes of Prompt.
Karin Babbitt shares growing up with her mother, an Auschwitz Survivor: A darkly funny story that has one of our most intense interviews we’ve ever done here at Prompt. Plus, Karin is returning to Nutshell on Nov 28 to tell a wild Thanksgiving story!
JP Frary Breaks The Ice: Our first episode and a strong one. JP has done more Nutshell shows than anyone else. This was his first, and it’s about his experience working on an Alaskan fishing boat when he was a young man. JP will be at our Nov 28 show as well. He and Beau Ryder Davis will be telling a two-person story (That’s a first for us!)
Amy Bee Tries to Sell Girl Scout Cookies: Amy is one of the co-creators of Nutshell and a hell of a storyteller! This was the first time she’d ever told a story on a stage of this size, and she KILLED IT. She won’t be telling a story at the Nov 28 show, but she will be there, and she will likely be schmoozing. Come say hi and shout, “I had cookies!” when you see her.
Thank you! See at our Nov 28 show, at Wildcard on Nov 20, and anywhere a story is being told. We are three friends that love stories!
