May Theme Beautiful Day

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and everything is going just right—until it isn’t. Or maybe it is.  A day picture-perfect on the outside might hold something bigger, stranger, or more meaningful beneath the surface.

DNA May featured storyteller

DNA

DNA has appeared on NPR’s Snap Judgement, been Timothy Leary’s chauffeur, and had a hit song on the radio in Nor Cal. DNA’s first time onstage was winning a Comedy Laff-Off at Chico State. He then took 20 years off to create thousands of free community events and festivals. DNA's namesake and great uncle booked the comedy at the Anderson Hotel in the Borscht Belt. Comedy is in his genes.

Joe

Klocek

Joe Klocek is a "square peg in a round hole" sort of guy. Raised a Midwesterner, he has manners, but has also lived in SF for 20 years, so he thinks he's better than you.
Joe does two things great: tells stories and talks to the crowd. Joe currently runs two monthly shows in San Francisco. He's been featured on NPR's Snap Judgment and appeared on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, NBC's Last Comic Standing, and was a commentator for the Emmy Award-winning documentary A Bridge So Far.
