In a Nutshell is our flagship live storytelling series at The Sofia in Sacramento. Each show features a curated lineup of experienced storytellers, comedians, writers, and performers all sharing one true, personal story around a monthly theme.

Stories are funny, heartfelt, surprising, occasionally dark, and always human. Think: the kind of night where you laugh hard, feel something unexpected, and leave glad you didn’t stay home.
